No matter where your organization is at on its operational improvement journey, the BLI team has the experience and expertise to help chart the right course. Furthermore, we are advocates of the adage “Less done well is more.” Our approach to improvement is always focused on our customers, not the other way around. We don't just provide training, we provide a complete consultation services to ensure successful Lean Six Sigma deployment.
BLI corporate deployment of Lean Six Sigma is powered by blending MoreSteam® software tools and online Lean Six Sigma courses with BLI Blended learning model and BLI 3-phase deployment approach. This blend is a truly LEAN approach offering an affordable way to improve the effectiveness, flexibility, and success rate of the organization's internal Lean Six Sigma deployment.
Deployment of any initiative requires a lot of understanding and sensitivity toward an organization's prevalent cultural and operational environment. Just a copy-and-paste approach, where one copies a western style deployment to an organization in the Middle East, does not work. The days of prescribing a one-size-fits-all solution are long gone. What worked for General Electric, Honeywell and Allied Signal in the ‘90s could be ineffective for other cultures. BLI is aware of the specific needs of Middle Eastern organizations and customize the deployment accordingly while keeping the basics intact. Also, Six Sigma is quite different from other methodologies like ISO, TQM, Quality Circles, etc, hence requires a different approach. What worked with these methodologies may not work for a Six Sigma deployment.
Prior to any Lean Six Sigma training and deployment, we help the organization to be aware of any cultural and operational barriers that would hinder or prevent a successful deployment of a Lean Six Sigma continuous Improvement initiative. at the onset of any engagement we conduct a Readiness Assessment for Six Sigma (RASS) to help us identify two major factors:
Based on the results of the assessment, BLI will recommend and chart the right course to overcome barriers and leverage existing strength for a successful Lean Six Sigma Deployment.
Successful Lean Six Sigma deployment requires the following components prior to the first wave of training – the right people, the right projects, the right support system and the right training vendor.
Success = f(Right People, Right Projects, Right Support System, Right Training Vendor)
Our 3-phased approach is designed to ensure that the right components are in place at the appropriate time to maximize the success of Lean Six Sigma deployment in meeting the organization's strategic goal while providing the highest return on investment.
BLI Blended Corporate Training is based on our blended learning model designed to maximize the learning experience by leveraging today's technology, minimize time away from work and family and reduce deployment cost while transferring the "right skills" at the "right time".
The model shown below is a typical Black Belt or Green Belt blended learning representing a three- to four-month total timeline. The left hand column shows the components of the blended learning while the right hand column shows the deliverable of each component at each phase of the D.M.A.I.C methodology.
Our blended training combine highly effective and engaging e-Learning component powered by MoreSteam®, and BLI delivered virtual online class room sessions, face-to-face project coaching, data analysis tools, project simulations in face-to-face workshops, online testing and certification. The outcome is a more efficient and effective learning that can be leveraged toward a successful Lean Six Sigma Deployment. Click here to learn more about the benefits of blended learning.
The online component is powered by MoreSteam and it is delivered on-demand in a highly interactive and practice-oriented environment, with instructor support and world class instructional design. the online training courses coupled with our Blended model decrease training costs, increase training flexibility, and advance deployment performance. Courses include:
Online training is an excellent, affordable solution for corporations who wish to support widespread Lean and Six Sigma awareness training but need to keep training costs in check. Online overview courses such as Champion training and Yellow Belt training provide a cost-effective and flexible means to deliver enterprise-wide education to large numbers of employees.
MoreSteam is the leader in Lean Six Sigma online training striving to exceed the needs of students and customers providing them with the best possible content, technology, and online learning experience.
MoreSteam materials are preferred by major partner universities and consultancies, and their course content is regularly reviewed and approved by the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

In response to customer demand for lower-cost software to perform data analysis, MoreSteam.com has developed EngineRoom, a Microsoft® Excel®-based solution. EngineRoom software becomes part of Excel, adding menu-driven access to a suite of powerful and simple-to-use Lean and Six Sigma data analysis tools and templates.
By taking advantage of the desktop tools your professionals already have and know, EngineRoom can help your team to avoid the steep learning curve of statistical tools. Your deployment can eliminate the high cost associated with new data analysis software, especially for your Green Belts who may never use more than 1/4 of the tools of more advanced stand-alone statistical software packages.
Unique features include EngineRoom's interactive StatMaster™ wizard with Hypothesis Testing in Plain English™. By linking to a common data sheet with variables identified in columns, EngineRoom can analyze data without the cutting and pasting of data arrays normally required by Excel®. Available for Excel® 2002/2003/XP and Excel® 2007. Find out more about the EngineRoom data analysis tool.
