Lean Six Sigma Certification

At BLI we take certification very seriously because we are keen on ensuring that our students are well grounded in the Lean Six Sigma concepts and can demonstrate these skills in practice. Your success as an effective practitioner in yielding improvement in Key performance metrics and delivering bottom-line results; is in essence our success.

Our certification requirements are designed to ensure students have a full understanding of the body of knowledge and can demonstrate these understanding thru project execution and testing.

ASQ is recognized as the world’s leading authority on quality and publishes the Body of Knowledge for the Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Green Belt.

The content of our online certification test are randomly drawn from a large question bank that correlates to the Body of Knowledge as defined by the American Society for Quality.

Below are the requirements of our certification programs:

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

To earn Black Belt certification through BLI, you must:

1. Complete MoreSteam's online Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Course.
2. Attend the 5-day Face-to-Face simulation workshop (optional) and pass a test of 100 questions conducted online for the duration of 6 hours. The test should be completed within 6 months of attending the workshop.
3. Complete a successful Six Sigma improvement project. The project should be completed within six months of course completion and must yield improvement in a performance metric that is important to the organization's mission. The project must meet established criteria which you can find at the following link:

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

To earn Green Belt certification through BLI, you must:

1. Complete MoreSteam's online Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Course.
2. Attend the 3-day Face-to-Face simulation workshop (optional) and pass a test of 50 questions conducted online for the duration of 3 hours. The test should be completed within 6 months of attending the workshop.
3. Complete a successful Six Sigma improvement project. The project should be completed within six months of course completion and must yield improvement in a performance metric that is important to the organization's mission. The project must meet established criteria which you can find at the following link:

Project Coaching

All of our certification projects are supported by One-on-One Coaching providing the student with ongoing support through out the phases of their project.

Our MBBs Schedule regular meetings with students as they work through projects. At the end of each of the D.M.A.I.C Phase our MBB conducts a 1-hour tollgate review going over the deliverables and discussing the project progress in details, the tools, and their application to the student's specific project.

In addition to the tollgate review, we provide ongoing project coaching via the study hall that is regularly scheduled through out the course and at the end of the online classroom meetings.
